Sr. M. Yohana Simbolon FCJM was born in Tebing Tinggi, North Sumatra, Indonesia on November 11, 1968. She entered Postulancy on November 1, 1988 and took her final vows on June 28, 1997. Her life motto, “I dare to be a witness to Christ who suffered, died and risen (cf. Luke 9:26),” she united her sufferings in unceasing prayer to God.

She passed away on March 08, 2023 at 01:00. The sisters accompanied her passing with continuous prayers, songs and masses. On March 9, 2023, she was buried at the FCJM Sisters Cemetery in Sinaksak, North Sumatra, Indonesia.
