Meeting of women and senior groups: An Oasis of Socialization and Spiritual Recharge

Meetings of women and senior groups in our parish in Caransebes are much more than just moments of socialization; they are true moments of sharing, support and spiritual refreshing. In these meetings, those who gather come not just to socialize, but to connect to a deeper dimension of their faith. Thus, in addition to moments of informal socializing, certain themes from the Bible are discussed, prayers are offered for the living, deceased and for special needs.

Thus, these gatherings of women and senior groups led by Sr. Marie Therese Gabor, Sr. Maricica Daca and Sr. Lydia Fecheta are a valuable oasis of socialization and spiritual recharge. They provide a safe setting in which participants can share, learn and grow together, strengthening not only their interpersonal bonds but also their relationship with God.
Meeting of priests and consecrated persons in Timisoara – A Living Testimony of Faith

In an increasingly secularized world, the meetings/days dedicated to consecrated religious are a testimony that there is a profound choice for God, a radical commitment that gives a deep meaning to life. Thus, the meeting of priests and consecrated religious in Timisoara that took place on February 1 proved to be once again a sign of the diversity of the Universal Church and of unity in faith.

The meeting began with the celebration of the Eucharist in the Cathedral of Timisoara and then continued with the participation of those present at the conference given by Pr. Dr. Drd. Florian Mross (Rome/Dresden) on the theme “The Church at the service of hope”. An essential aspect of this meeting was the small group discussion, in which everyone shared from their own life moments in which they were able to give others a ray of hope or places that can become sanctuaries of hope. This meeting was attended by all the Sisters from Caransebes and Timisoara.
Special day of February 1st
On this special day of February 1st, dedicated to consecrated persons from the diocese of Timisoara, ended in a festive way. In the evening the Sisters participated in the Greek Catholic Church (Byzantine rite) “Nativity of the Virgin Mary” in Timisoara at the celebration of Vespers in Welcoming our Lord Jesus Christ in the Temple, and the ceremony of the investiture of the hypo deacon Raul Man as a novice by Exc. His Grace Bishop PS Bishop Ioan Bot. The celebration was carried out in an atmosphere of prayer and communion. It showed once again the importance of monastic life in the Church and in our contemporary society, providing a source of inspiration for all those who seek a path of holiness and divine service.
