Sr. M. Magdalena Schmitz FCJM participated in the meeting of the Roman Constellation on January 9-11, 2024. The mutually enriching meeting had the theme “Synodality, a journey of hope”. Some of the aspects discussed at the meeting were the re-reading of Consecrated Life in the light of the Synodality, the presentation of the new secretary of the Council for Consecrated Life (DIVCSVA), and shared wisdom in leadership ministry.

Seventy-eight sisters joined the face-to-face meeting. A few weeks later, Sr. Magdalena as the coordinator of the English-speaking group invited the sisters to attend a meeting at the Generalate of the Congregation of the Society of the Child Jesus on Saturday afternoon, February 3, 2024. A total of 16 sisters gathered for spiritual enrichment and sharing about the joys and challenges of leadership ministry. They were all very grateful for the spiritual nourishment, mutual support, and wonderful hospitality.
