Swasta Santu Xaverius Gunungsitoli is one of the schools under the auspices of the Diocese of Sibolga led by Sr. Albertine FCJM. One of the contents of the School Mission in point five says “Instilling Environmental Care and Love of Culture”. So this program is always carried out by the St. Xaverius High School community in their semesterly program. The purpose is to care for their environment as well as learning Ecology to students in the school and the school environment.  The same applies to the use of plastic.
