On December 10, 2025, Human Rights Day was celebrated. On behalf of our Congregation, Sr. Leonie received an award for her service and involvement in assisting children in orphanages who needed attention and health care from 1990 to 2025. In addition to FCJM, six individuals were selected by the Jury Panel appointed by President Ramos Horta of the Republic. In addition to receiving a Certificate, we also received a cash award of $10,000 as a form of support for the sisters’ work in serving orphaned and abandoned children.
