Pace e Bene September 2023

Pace e Bene September 2023

Thirteen FCJM sisters from Indonesia held the Pace e Bene program from September 6 to 29, 2023. The program was an opportunity to celebrate their faithfulness as FCJMs. They were privileged to make a pilgrimage and rejoice in God’s grace as they gave thanks for the Jubilee of 25 years of religious life in 2020-2022.

They traveled from Indonesia to Rome, Italy. They visited several historical places in Assisi and Rome. They continued their journey to Salzkotten, Germany. There, they visited many historical places of the Congregation accompanied by the Sisters together with Sr. Carola Thomann.

The participants of Pace e Bene consisted of Sr. M. Maximiliana Galingging FCJM, Sr. M. Angelina Aritonang FCJM, Sr. M. Agata Lumbantungkup FCJM, Sr. M. Yasinta Tamba FCJM, Sr. M. Selestina Barasa FCJM, Sr. M. Virgini Samosir FCJM, Sr. M. Regina Hasugian FCJM, Sr. M. Bernardine Silalahi FCJM, Sr. M. Inosensia Hasugian FCJM, Sr. M. Cordia Tinambunan FCJM, Sr. M. Claudia Pakpahan FCJM, Sr. M. Odilia Simbolon FCJM, Sr. M. Yolanda Sihite FCJM.

The pilgrimage was a truly remarkable, amazing and cherished experience. The spiritual places of St. Francis, St. Clara and Mother Clara speaks louder, by seeing them in person, stepping on them and touching them. The sisters expressed their gratitude for God’s great love, for this great opportunity and program. Learning about different cultures was also a special and important experience during this pilgrimage. The Pace e Bene program went well with all participants safely arriving in their respective communities in great spirits. Sincere gratitude also extended to those who have contributed to this program with their prayers, efforts, and excellent cooperation. Pace and Bene!
