Be a Good Memory to Someone
Following are some photos of my last meeting with Sr. Secilia, the day before I left Indonesia for Rome in October 2023. I met with her and the other sisters in the community of the elderly sisters of St. Clara to ask them for permission and prayers.
At that time, Sr. Secilia was knitting and making rosaries. She gave me a small bag that she made herself. She said it was a gift that I had completed my studies well and was ready for my new mission.

“This suits you very well, the color is pink. If you miss me, remember this bag. I always pray for you and support you. I am happy that you are being sent to our Generalate,” Sr. Secilia said, encouraging me.
She also told me to keep working with and keep writing.
“Keep writing; I am happy with all your books”, she said simply.
Sr. Secilia, that advice will never fade from my memory. Thank you for being an example of gentleness and friendliness and showing me that writing is important.
“The strokes of your hand will always be remembered.”
