The FCJM Sisters in Indonesian Province began to work in Merakai, the Diocese of Sintang. Two pioneer sisters ( Sr. M. Robertha Ruth Harianja dan Sr. M. Nyken Clarent Mahulae) were sent to undertake this new service. The Bishop of the Diocese of Sintang, Mgr Samuel Oton Sidin OFMCap, welcomed their arrival with great joy. Sr. M. Theodosia Tinambunan and Sr. M. Agnes Tambunan from the Indonesian Provincial Council accompanied them to the new mission place.

In May 9, 2025, Bishop Samuel blessed the new community for the sisters, which is named “Carlo Acutis.”

May the presence of the FCJM sisters be a sign of the Kingdom of God in the ministry they have begun in their new location. May God bless all their efforts in their service.
