The primary purpose of the foundation was to address the suffering of the times and the Church, thus the principal task of the Sisters of Franciscan Sisters, Daughters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary is the perpetual adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. They strive to integrate contemplative and active life. The active life is nurtured and strengthened and supported by the contemplative life, so that the active life becomes even more abundant with blessings. (FC 34). To this day, spirituality sown by Muder Clara continues to flourish.
