In July, a long-standing dream came true. Sr. M. Magdalena spent a week’s vacation with her sister Gaby in various regions of Romania (Crisana, Maramures, Bukovina, Transylvania). Among other things, they visited Vatra Dornei/Bukowina, where a community of our German Sister lived in the 1930s. The visitors also experienced the colorful Orthodox monasteries and historic towns. Encounters along the way added a special touch to the round trip.

This time was followed by a wonderful week with our Sisters in Caransebes and in anticipation of Sr. Maricica Danca’s silver jubilee. The festive Eucharistic celebration in the parish church was followed by a joyful gathering of Sisters, family members and guests. Many thanks to our Sisters who helped to co-created this special time.
