Religious Jubilee of Sr. Sheila

Religious Jubilee of Sr. Sheila

This year, Sr. Sheila was able to look back with gratitude on 60 years of her religious life. On June 22, she celebrated her jubilee in Wheaton together with 6 American Sisters, their families and friends. It was a festive celebration with words of gratitude for her many years of service and her life in our congregation. Sr. Mariana, who was in the States at that time, attended the jubilee celebration as a representative of our Generalate community.

On August 5, Sr. Sheila continued the jubilee celebrations in Rome with the whole community. In a special prayer, the Sisters expressed their gratitude for the life of Sr. Sheila, her dedication to the community and her service to the Church and the world. The jubilee day ended on a happy note with a delicious Italian dinner in a nearby restaurant. We thank Sr. Sheila for her presence in our community. May God continue to bless her!
