t was a day bright with sunshine and joy for our aspirants, the sisters, and Father Taylor. When we arrived at Lake Malawi, we refreshed ourselves by swimming in its warm, welcoming waters.

The crossing to Lizard Island became a special highlight, especially for our aspirants. In the crystal-clear lake, we discovered colourful fish, then climbed to the top of the uninhabited island, trusting our guide’s promise of a magnificent view.

For Father Francis Taylor, a dear friend of our community, this trip was offered as a farewell gift. He will soon retire to Lusaka in Zambia. As the day came to a gentle close, he celebrated Holy Mass with us by the lakeshore.

A day filled with gratitude and quiet joy came to an end—one whose memories we will treasure for a long time.
