Indonesian Catholic Community in Rome celebrated Easter together on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at the SVD Generalate in Rome.

On the same day, Cardinal Ignatius Suharyo Hardjoatmodjo, Archbishop of Jakarta who will participate in the conclave, arrived in Rome. He was met at Fiumicino airport by the Indonesian Ambassador to the Vatican, Trias Kuncahyono, and went directly to the chapel of the SVD Generalate. Cardinal Ignatius presided at the Eucharistic celebration accompanied by nine concelebrating priests. About 450 people participated in the celebration.

After the Eucharist, all enjoyed various entertainments such as dances and wayang (Wayang is a traditional form of shadow puppet theatre from Java, Indonesia). Then they enjoyed many kinds of Indonesian food. This added to the happiness of the guests.
