Ignasius Suharyo was set to lead an extraordinary Easter Eucharistic celebration with a joyous community of Indonesians in Rome

On Sunday, May 4, 2025, Indonesian Christians and Catholics in Rome came together for an unforgettable celebration of Easter at the SVD Generalate.
On the same day, Cardinal Ignasius Suharyo arrived in Rome. He was set to participate in the Conclave, and everyone was thrilled to see him. He was greeted by the Indonesian Ambassador to the Vatican, Trias Kuncahyono, at Fiumicino Airport, and was immediately taken to the chapel of the SVD Generalate. The Eucharistic celebration was led by Cardinal Ignasius Suharyo, accompanied by nine concelebrating priests. The celebration was a resounding success, with approximately 450 people in attendance.

After the Eucharistic celebration, they enjoyed various entertainments such as dance and wayang. Then, they indulged in a variety of delicious Indonesian dishes, each more mouthwatering than the last. This added to the joy of the guests, making the event truly unforgettable.
