Saturday, 25 October 2025, was a joyful and grace-filled day for us, particularly for our sisters in Timor-Leste. On that day, the groundbreaking ceremony was held for the construction of the FCJM Sistersโ Community โSt. Anthony of Paduaโ and Assisi Kindergarten in Beco.
During the simple yet meaningful celebration, Sr. Emmanuela, Sr. Mariana (Our General Council who had come from Rome), and Sr. Blandina (the Delegate in Timor-Leste) planted a young mango tree to symbolise a life that is fruitful, sweet, and full of hope. The mango tree was chosen because it grows abundantly in Timor-Leste, reflecting the richness of the land and the close connection of its people to nature.

We pray that the construction will progress smoothly, and that this place will become a sign of Godโs loving presence, where many young hearts will grow in faith, love, and Franciscan joy.
