During Holy Week, we had a visit from MaZ students from “Franciscans help”, who will be going to the ollowing countries from August: Peru, Bolivia, Brazil and Kenya. In addition to the cooperation with the Archdiocese of Paderborn, we would like to further expand our cooperation with the Franciscan brothers. We believe that young people need a spiritual place like our motherhouse in order to absorb and internalize Franciscan spirituality. In addition, Dowa, where there are also Franciscans alongside our sisters, can also be considered as a future, jointly supervised place of work for volunteers.

The seminar was about identity, biography work and the content of Holy Week. The group began at the Franciscan fountain with the stigmata of St. Francis and his relationship with Christ. The group visited an Easter garden in which the Passion of Jesus was depicted. The group designed crosses and reflected on their own crosses and the crosses of the people in the countries of assignment. They created an Easter candle for themselves and celebrated the liturgy of the Easter Vigil in the seminar room with the Franciscan priest.
