We are grateful that the blessing of the new community in Coronie, Suriname went well. The celebration took place on Sunday, July 20, 2025. Bishop Karel Choennie, the bishop of Paramaribo, Suriname, presided over Holy Mass with several other priests.

After the Holy Mass, Bishop Choennie blessed the new community.

The General Council of the FCJM from Rome: Sr. M. Magdalena Schmitz (Superior General) and Sr. M. Emmanuela Sitorus (General Assistant) were also present.

We are thankful to all the people who came to this innaguration, including members of various congregations and individuals from throughout Suriname.
