Festival of Encounter
There were plenty of them: 72 children from three kindergartens, our sisters, residents from two retirement homes, guests from the day care center, the lunch club, and the open meeting place, as well as the new tenants of the Tau House.
The children had fun with Lego bricks, a parachute, sidewalk chalk, games of tag and hide-and-seek, the playground, and face painting. The children had fun with Lego bricks, a parachute, sidewalk chalk, games of tag and hide-and-seek, the daycare playground, and face painting. They performed funny dances with a dance teacher. In the afternoon, the seniors invited everyone to join in some seated dancing. We ended the day with open singing and song requests.
Vacation Without Suitcases
Our elderly sisters set off to enjoy the next few days together. After gathering ideas and wishes for how to spend the coming days, they sang, played games, and those who wanted to took a stroll in the garden or accepted the invitation to the summer party in the garden of the retirement home.

The next morning, the sisters and helpers gathered to watch the consecration of the altar in the parish church with Archbishop Dr. Bentz in a live broadcast.
In the afternoon, we made our way there to see for ourselves how beautiful the church had become after the long renovation period. Then a delicious surprise awaited us for dinner: baked potatoes with herb quark, tomato or herb butter.

The next day, we met with the kindergarden in the garden. Tables and benches had already been set up under the parasols, and paper, scissors, paintbrushes, and paints had been laid out. Together with the little ones, we set about cutting out hearts from colored paper and then painting them. Everyone had so much fun together! At the end, the kids gave a performance with movements to a song composed especially for the daycare center.
In the afternoon, the delicious smell of waffles filled the motherhouse! Everyone enjoyed this special treat with a good cup of coffee! Freshly fortified, there was still enough time to fulfill a few wishes: a walk to the salt works, a stroll through the garden or a “shopping trip” through town.

On the last day of the holidays, young dancers delighted us. They all performed folk dances, songs, and pieces of music, and you could really see how much they enjoyed what they were doing! The applause they received from all of us spoke for itself, and there were even encores!
In the afternoon, the door opened and Clown Anton walked in, accompanied by festive music and equipped with flags and flowers! A queen and her princesses were to be chosen, with a throwing wall in the room. Accompanied by appropriate music, Anton danced with everyone on the dance floor, and then the procession moved across the floor and the crowd cheered for the majesties. All of this created an almost exuberant atmosphere.
